The station forecourt is located directly on the border with Strasbourg. Not only is it the gateway to France, but also to the town centre of Kehl. With direct access to the bus station, the railway station, the tram to Strasbourg, the main road and the Rhine, the station forecourt is the perfect place for all kinds of events.
Feldscheune am Weißtannenturm field barn by the silver fir tower
The Feldscheune field barn provides a cosy rustic setting for a wide variety of events where a fairly large number of guests is expected, whether company parties, club anniversaries or concerts of all kinds. It is located at the southern end of the former state horticultural show site and can accommodate a relatively large audience (200-250 people). The available surface area is 266m².

The main square in Kehl is graced by the Protestant Friedenskirche church and is also home to two pavilions serving refreshments as well as the “Rhinschnoog” insect sculpture and the Mutter-Kinzig statue. The large square is flanked by various cafés and restaurants as well as retail outlets.
The weekly market is held in front of the Friedenskirche church on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8-13 hrs. The square also hosts the Kehl Christmas market on the second weekend in Advent every year, with alluring sights and seasonal goodies to enjoy around the festive Christmas tree.
It is possible to hire the entire square or certain areas for commercial purposes or for charity events.
Power and water supply connections are available.
The total surface area available for markets and events is approximately 5780m².

The 20,000m² Läger fairground is located directly on the B28 road very close to the Europabrücke bridge over the Rhine. It has electricity and water supply connections and is particularly suitable for sales events, flea markets and puppet shows. The whole site or part of the site can be rented out.
The Ostermarkt, an Easter funfair and amusement park for the whole family, is held on the Läger every year from Easter Saturday to the following Sunday and always includes a large fireworks display.
This large sports hall and multi-purpose hall is located in the Sundheim district of Kehl. It is primarily for community use by clubs and local schools. The Niedereichhalle is not rented out for private events, such as birthdays or weddings. The entire ground floor area including foyer and side rooms is approximately 968m².

Rhine flood plain
Not only is the Rheinvorland Rhine flood plain in Kehl the perfect place for a relaxing walk along the Rhine but it is also an ideal event location from spring to autumn. It is the perfect outdoor setting for low-key festivals and functions.
open-air stage on the Old Rhine
The Old Rhine evolved long ago when the Rhine had not yet been straightened and was still meandering and winding its way through the landscape. Today it is a green oasis in the middle of the town.
The Seebühne open-air stage, a wooden platform on the bank of the Old Rhine which has undergone rehabilitation to improve its ecological status, is a beautiful place to linger. The big platform made of wood has a surface area of approximately 75m². It had its opening night in July 2003 and has since staged events of all kinds, such as the annual Kultursommer summer of cultural events in Kehl. The open-air stage gives the impression of walking on water. The grassy area in front of the stage has some steps forming natural seating areas and can accommodate more than 800 spectators.
The civic hall in Kehl civic hall in Kehl is a “multi-purpose building” which is very flexible in terms of space on offer. The outside of the building with its clean lines is typical of the architecture of the 1950s while the modernised interior is spacious and light.
